Extra Parts: ESD Wrist Strap & Common Ground Point Cable (Banana Plug)
These Anti-Static ESD Wrist Straps and Common Ground Points are included with our Modmats. If you purchased a GN Anti-Static Mat, it will come with both of these items. If you require additional Common Ground Points and/or Anti-Static Wrist Straps, we sell each standalone or in a discounted bundle. Please scroll down for additional information.
Anti-Static ESD Bracelet (Light Blue / Teal)
We have blue ESD wrist straps available with an included alligator clip, useful for assisting in preventing electrostatic discharge. You can apply light pressure to remove the alligator clip and reveal a banana plug. Our ESD wrist straps with banana plugs will connect to our common ground points, which host two banana plug receptacles and can allow two technicians to work on a PC build at one time. Proper use of the ESD wrist strap with common ground point will help protect against electrostatic discharge while building computers. The blue ESD wrist strap uses a stretchy cable to give more mobility for system builders.
Common Ground Point (10mm Male Stud)
The common ground point uses a 6 ft. long cable (~1.8m) and ends in a ring terminal, which can be looped around a ground screw (read instructions and safety guidance before use; do not tamper with wall outlets or electrical receptacles without understanding your outlet wiring. For safety, deactivate the circuit during installation of the ring terminal). The common ground point has two banana plug receptacles and is compatible with our anti-static bracelets. Our common ground point is a 10mm male stud that connects to a 10mm female snap (found on the GamersNexus Anti-Static Mats for PC building). We guarantee that our 10mm Male Stud ground points and anti-static mats (sold on this site) are compatible with one another. If you are purchasing a ground point for another ESD mat, please check to see whether the mat uses a 10mm male stud or 10mm female snap before purchasing.
Read all instructions before use. You can find an instruction manual here.
Bundle: Grounding Wrist Strap + Ground Wire
We recommend purchasing the Common Ground Point and Anti-Static Wrist Strap together, as we can offer a discount for bundle purchases, and can also reduce overall shipping cost versus separate orders. Our ground points and wrist straps are guaranteed to be compatible with one another. Our support team is available to assist with any questions prior to or following your order.

Update 6/26/2025: We have restocked a small quantity of these mats in our first print run of this design in years due to popular demand. You can find our newest GN15 design here.
The GamersNexus Modmat was designed by our team for use in tear-downs, PC builds, and enthusiast projects. The modmat is a 4' x 2' surface, using anti-static, rubberized material that stays in place and protects your components from electro-static discharge with its included common ground point and anti-static wrist strap. The rubber underside prevents the mat from moving on the table, and the mat's rubberized surface helps protect your table (and your components) from damage during system builds. These mats are large (at 4' x 2') and their weight speaks to the high material quality, at roughly 4 lbs. The Modmat is not intended for use as a mousing surface or as an active test bench (isolate components under test from the mat, as it is anti-static conductive) and is most at home as a build surface. The nature of an anti-static conductive mat means that it should be used with components in an off state while building or assembling.
