What Accidental User Damage is Covered?

The Limited Warranty Period also covers some accidental user damage only for the items explicitly mentioned and when affecting functionality of the product.

This warranty includes coverage for the below examples:

• Any accidental user-caused or manufacturing damage affecting the functionality (must be more than cosmetic) of the Common Ground Point (e.g. terminal ring or cable strain relief)

• Any accidental user-caused or manufacturing damage to the Common Ground Point stud/snap preventing its use with the Modmat stud/snap (must be more than cosmetic)

• Any accidental user-caused or manufacturing damage to the Modmat’s stud/snap preventing its use with the Common Ground Point (must be more than cosmetic)

• Any accidental user-caused or manufacturing damage to the Modmat ESD wrist strap or ESD wrist strap cable (must be more than cosmetic)

What Manufacturing Issues Are Covered?

GamersNexus, LLC warrants that your new GN Modmat (all types, e.g. incl. Medium, Large) purchased directly from GamersNexus’ online store will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the Limited Warranty Period described herein.

• We guarantee that the work surface itself will remain within its Anti-Static Conductive (10^1 to 10^5 ohms resistivity) or Anti-Static Dissipative (10^4 to 10^10 ohms resistivity) spec for surface resistivity, depending on product and methods

• Damage incurred to the Modmat caused by manufacturing defects or workmanship defects (must be more than cosmetic)

• Incomplete Modmat or missing accessory

• Damaged Modmat or included accessories caused by initial shipping

• Manufacturing or workmanship defects (including defects causing a break) in the included accessories (wrist strap (“ESD Strap”) or its connecting cable, and the Common Ground Point)

What Does This Warranty Not Cover?

The Warranty does not cover these examples:

• Cosmetic damage, variance, or wear-and-tear, including, but not limited to, the paint and printed design, minor cosmetic variance that occurs from manufacturing, etc.

• Defects in materials or workmanship of the Modmat work surface caused by user accident or improper use by the user (excepting above Accidental Damage items)

• Defects or damage caused by fire, flood, or force majeure

• Wear-and-tear of the Modmat work surface from heavy use by the user

How Long Does This Warranty Last?

This warranty lasts for 7 years from the original purchase date. The warranty is non-transferable and exclusively for the original purchaser. This warranty terminates if you sell, transfer, or dispose of your product. The “original purchaser” is the individual who bought the product directly from GamersNexus and not with intent to resell. Any repair or replacement will not extend the original period of the limited warranty, nor will it constitute the beginning of a new limited warranty period.

In the event that the product is no longer manufactured and sold by GamersNexus, LLC, a suitable replacement will be offered from its current products or an alternate solution.

How Do I Use The Warranty?

To get service under this warranty, promptly notify GamersNexus, LLC by emailing support@gamersnexus.net to retrieve additional instructions relating to replacing, exchanging, or repairing the warranted product. Please include your order ID or invoice to expedite things, along with a description of the issue and photos of the issue. You may be asked to undertake additional steps to troubleshoot the issue or determine whether this warranty applies, or to fix the issue remotely with assistance from our team, if applicable. For example, re-attaching a stud that has fallen off can be done by the end user and without replacement, so this would be a scenario where (even outside of warranty period), we would be happy to provide assistance and guidance via the support email. Meanwhile, a manufacturing defect may be determined best resolved by a replacement of the affected item.

Any warranted product must be accompanied by proof of purchase, e.g. an order number, so that we may assist further.

For any warranted product authorized to be returned to GamersNexus in accordance with this warranty, GamersNexus will repair or replace the warranted product, or any part thereof, in its sole discretion. GamersNexus reserves the right to determine a product unfit for warranted coverage for a product which does not meet the above conditions.
