We’re making many of our best content over the years available on 3840×2160 Blu-Ray as a special edition set. We wanted to focus on the educational videos, documentaries, and deep-dive reports for this set. All of these videos are available for free on our YouTube channel. Options in the drop-down include:

• Educational: The BEST OF our Factory Tour Series + BONUS USB Drive. We’ve been making factory tours since 2012, technically, and now have over a decade filmed across multiple continents. For this pack, you’ll get as many episodes as we can fit on a 50 GB Blu-Ray disc at 3840×2160 with the GN hand-picked bests. Includes BONUS USB Drive with factory tours on it.

• Special Report: The Final Days of EVGA. This is one of Steve’s personal favorites he’s produced on the team. The Final Days of EVGA follows KINGPIN and his extreme overclocking team around the headquarters in Taiwan as they try to set one final world record before EVGA is forever shuttered.

• Educational: Our MADE IN GERMANY Factory Tour Series in its entirety, showing the making of thermal paste, liquid metal, and water blocks across two companies.

• Educational: The BEST OF our Engineering Interviews. We’ll pack as many of our best, most educational interviews over our 18 years of operation onto a 50 GB Blu-Ray disc.

• Documentary: Our DRAM Cartel hour-long deep-dive into the history of system memory (and the slow growth of corruption).

• Special Report: Our Death of Affordable Computing (Tariffs) special report at nearly 3 hours long, providing a timestamp in history of when computer changed forever. We called it “The Death of Affordable Computing,” and within one year of the report, we’ve seen the situation only worsen. Features hours of interviews with experts.

• Special Report: The COLLAPSE of Personal Computing special report that deep-dives into how the memory crisis is affecting computer hardware manufacturers, featuring interviews with executives, logistics personnel, startup staff, and even former staff within the industry.

The discs are burned in-house by our team with a semi-automated disc duplicator that we bought, printed with a thermal printer direct-to-disc at GN HQ, and the disc cases were 3D modeled by our team and are 3D printed on-site in our print farm. This is almost entirely done in-house and made by GN, with the exception of the literal disc factory itself. The special 3D printed case features a spinning, clicky knob and push buttons for tactile feedback, has a retro I/O themed exterior and interior, and is printed with colors that fit a retro hardware colorway.

This is meant to be a unique way to support us while also getting high-quality media in return, without YouTube’s compression. You can view all the content on YouTube for free.

COMPATIBILITY & LIMITATIONS

Blu-Ray has a number of compatibility challenges. We cannot test for all players, so thus far, we are only listing what we have verified works:

• Sony PlayStation 5 support

• Xbox Series X support

• Xbox One X support

• PC / Windows support (requires H.265 playback support)

• Sony UBP-X800 support

• Discs would not play on old LG (lol) DP547 Blu-Ray player due to lack of 4K support

• Players without 4K support and/or without 50 GB disc support will likely not play the discs. The above is the only set of devices we can currently guarantee compatibility for.

The PS4 Pro and older do not support our 4K 50 GB discs.
